WELLE Environmental Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "WELLE Group") recently successfully won the bid for the leachate treatment systems for Phase I and Phase II of the TG12 Renewable Energy Project in Selangor, Malaysia, marking a significant breakthrough for WELLE Group in the overseas environmental protection market. As a leading enterprise in the field of leachate treatment, this cooperation not only demonstrates the recognition of international customers for WELLE's technical strength but also sets a new benchmark for the resource utilization of waste globally.
The Malaysia TG12 project, which we have won the bid for, encompasses the leachate treatment systems for both Phase I and Phase II. The highlights of the project are as follows:
1. Processing scale and process:
The leachate treatment capacity of the first-phase domestic waste incineration plant is 600m³/d, utilizing a treatment process consisting of "primary sedimentation + regulating reservoir + UASB anaerobic treatment + MBR (biochemical (two-stage A/O) + ultrafiltration (UF)) + coagulation sedimentation + Fenton + sand filtration".
The treatment capacity of the leachate from the second-phase landfill site is 900m³/d, utilizing a treatment process consisting of "regulating pond + anaerobic treatment + two-stage SBR + air floatation + sand filtration + activated carbon filtration".
2. Significant environmental benefits: By optimizing the leachate treatment process, the project will help Malaysia achieve efficient energy conversion of high-concentration landfill leachate, reduce carbon emissions, and respond to the global carbon neutrality initiative.
3. Internationalization strategic layout: As a large-scale project in Southeast Asia, winning the bid for this project not only consolidates the company's leading position in the leachate treatment market but also lays a solid foundation for entering the emerging markets of the "Belt and Road" countries.
With its patented technology for leachate treatment, Veolia Group has achieved remarkable success in the domestic papermaking and brewing industries. This overseas expansion will replicate the successful model and promote the "Chinese solution" to the world. Veolia Group has always adhered to the concept of being an "expert in waste resource utilization". This project in Malaysia once again demonstrates the company's core advantages of "technological leadership and global service". In the future, Veolia Group will continue to focus on environmental protection technology and contribute Chinese wisdom to the global low-carbon transformation.
